Toolbar Buttons
HyperMaker Ebooks commonly show several buttons on a toolbar. The button images can be selected before compiling the ebook and optionally titles can be shown below the pictures.
By default HyperMaker includes the following buttons:

Show/Hide Navigation Panel button. The navigation panel contains the TOC, Search, Index and Favorites tabs. |

Previous/Next TOC item buttons to navigate through the Browse Sequence. These buttons only will appear if a Table of Contents is set. |

|
Back/Forward buttons to move in the history of visited pages, like an Internet browser does. |

Home button. |

Change Font Size button. |
|
|
Print button. Prints the current page. |
|
|
Exit button. |
To modify how the Toolbar looks and works click the
Set Toolbar button on Interface
Tab. This will open the Toolbar Preview window where the toolbar look and actions
can be modified.

| On the top of the Toolbar Preview window you can set the buttons width and height fields, which allow changing and previewing instantly the buttons dimensions. | |||
If the Table of Contents was not set, the buttons with vertical arrows will not appear in the Ebook, no matter if they are added to the Toolbar. Buttons change its color, becoming active, when the mouse passes over them like the left button in the above image. |

The control on the right of the Buttons Handling pane will select any button. Click Insert to place a new bottom there or Delete to delete the selected one. You can also delete and insert as many buttons as you want (depending on the screen and button size you can fit more or less buttons on the toolbar). If you delete all buttons your ebook will still show the toolbar but empty. To hide the toolbar select Hidden as Toolbar placement in the option explained below. Your buttons will show titles only if you select the Show buttons Title option, and in such case they will require more horizontal space. Since you can write different titles for your buttons, it is up to you to set the proper size for displaying the titles properly. The default Toolbar background color is gray, but a picture (a Windows
bitmap with The suggested height (if the toolbar is horizontal) is two pixels more than the buttons height. The image will be tiled to fill all the toolbar surface, if its size is less than the button bar size. If you do not want to tile the image, just supply an image with enough size (not less than the screen width, or height if the toolbar is placed in a vertical fashion). You can also select the toolbar placement, to show it horizontally, vertically or hide it at well. |

The Toolbar Logo can be shown or hidden. It usually shows an animated GIF file, but you can use a non animated GIF file as well or avoid showing it at all, although the TRIAL version will show always the standard Bersoft logo. The logo vertical size should no be bigger than the buttons height + 2. |
