Special Files Tab
Here you can specify which files will be used for special purposes in your publication.
Splash Screen File
The Splash Screen file will be shown when the Ebook opens, before the Home Page appears. Click the Browse button to select the file to use as Splash Screen.
Files with.gif,.bmp,.jpg,.jpeg(pictures y.avi(video) are supported.The file should always be located in the Publication Main Folder and because that when you click the browse button you will only see the files located out there.
If the desired file doesn't appear in the file list simply copy or move it from its actual location to the Publication Main Folder. Learn More.
- When selecting image files you can select how many milliseconds the image will stay on the screen.
If you write 0 milliseconds the splash screen will remain visible until the user clicks on the image or presses any key.- AVI files
The splash screen will be closed automatically when the video ends or the user clicks on the image or presses any key. Write 0 milliseconds as delay to avoid closing the Splash Screen automatically when the video ends.After selecting the file, the file name will appear in text area immediately below the Browse button.
If Show Splash Screen maximized isn't selected, the Splash Window will have exactly the same size than the image or video that it shows and will be centered in the middle of the monitor screen, otherwise, the Splash Screen will fill the entire screen with the color selected as background color, using the Back Color button. The video or image shown always will be displayed with its original size.
Also you can select/unselect the Splash Screen file in Files tab by selecting it, right-clicking to show the contextual menu and then selecting Set/Unset as Splash Screen from the menu.
Other Files
Also the Click Sound file, the About Page and Help Page can be selected in this Tab.
Click Sound File Set/Unsets the selected WAV file as sound to be play when a link is clicked. About Page The About Page only can be set in the registered version of HyperMaker.
This file will be displayed when the About command on the Help menu is clicked. If you do not define an about file a default About window will be shown.

Help Page You can configure an HTML page or a .HLP, .CHM or .PDF as Help page, either using the contextual menu in Files tab, or here.
If a Help Page is selected, a help menu will be made available in the ebook menu, in order to open the help file.
If the help file is an HTML page, it will be opened inside the Ebook window, if not it will be run as an independent program
Acrobat (PDF files) require having Adobe Acrobat reader installed.
We recommend to not use .HLP files anymore since Windows Vista doesn't support them.Not Found Page The HTML document indicated in the field above will be shown anytime a link to a non-existent page is clicked.
If no file is set as not found page message the Ebook will show an standard message, combining the language strings # 64 and # 65, when a page is not found. Learn More.
This settings can be useful when you create several versions of the same publication, some of them with partial content, in order to let the user know why the page is missing.
Run Only from CD-ROM If this option is selected the page selected below will be shown instead the Home Page, if the Ebook does not run from a CD-ROM or DVD drive. No other page that this one will be shown, unless the Ebook runs from a read only removable media. No framesets are allowed for this file.
