Files Tab

When creating a new Publication or opening HyperMaker Publications from disk, the Publication Manager will appear showing the Files tab in the right side.

This tab shows the files and subfolders within your Publication Main Folder. Here you view, rename or delete files, as well as setting different publication options.

On the top left there area three buttons to view , Edit or Set as Home page the selected file.

Immediately below those buttons there are other two buttons to move one directory up the file view and to relocate the Publication Directory.

Relocating the Publication Directory is useful when you want to clone Publication settings or change the root directory for the publication.

The files are shown here in the same way that Windows Explorer shows. The file list can be refreshed or show in different ways by clicking the file mode buttons on the top right . The Type column shows which file has special functions, as HOME PAGE or NO COMPILE.

Contextual Menus

Some configuration options can be set by using a contextual menu , which appears when you click with the right button on any file in the File list, offering the following menu commands to apply to the selected file or files:

	Set as Home Page	Sets the Selected HTML Document as Home Page.
	Set/Unset as ClickSound	Set/Unsets the selected WAV file as sound to be play when a link is clicked.
	Set/Unset as Splash Screen	Sets/unSets the selected image or video as Splash Screen file. Files with .gif, .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg (pictures y .avi (video) are supported.
	Set/Unset as Warning message for locked pages	Please see Warning Page.
	Set/Unset as Registration page	See Registration Page.
	Set/Unset as About page	See About Page.
	Set/Unset as Help page	See Help Page, under Other Files section.
	Protect/Unprotect page	See Protection Tab.
	Exclude from/Include in Search	Excluded page will not be searched and will appear in the No Search list in the Search Tab. The pages in the list will be excluded from text and keyword searches.
	Exclude from/Include in Compilation	Excluded files will not be included inside the Ebook and will appear in the List or manually excluded files in the Exclusion Tab.
	View	Shows the selected image or HTML document with HyperMaker Built-In viewer.
	Edit with Built-In HTML Editor.	Edits the selected HTML document with HyperMaker Built-In HTML editor.
	Rename	Renames the selected file.
	Delete	Deletes the selected file from disk.

Additional (External) Folders

On the bottom of the Files Tab you can see the Additional Folders list.

HyperMaker will include into the eBook all the files located in the same folder where the Publication Home Page is located including those files in subfolders. If you need to add some other files that are located outside the Publication Main Folder you should add the folder where those files are placed to the Additional Folders list.

All the subfolders and files in them, under the selected added folder will be included as well.

Additional Folders will not be indexed when searching for keywords.
